BETA ADDENDUM
Expect the Beta to change and sometimes go wrong
Forma is pre-release software. This addendum is part of the Forma Terms of Service while Forma is labelled Beta. It sets expectations for an experimental service; it does not create a separate data programme. The Forma Privacy Policy is the only privacy notice for ordinary Beta use. Optional Forma Research remains a separate programme with its own participant information and choices.
Pre-release software
Features, measurements, reports, models, data formats, quotas, integrations, supported platforms and availability may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, unavailable or changed without becoming a permanent Forma feature. Bugs, interruptions, compatibility problems and data loss may occur. Forma may reset Beta data where reasonably necessary for security, integrity or an incompatible change.
No service-level commitment
No service-level agreement applies to the Beta. Forma does not promise uptime, uninterrupted access, support or incident-response times, feature continuity, backward compatibility, a release date, a feature lifetime or that Forma will reach general availability. Any estimate, roadmap or planned feature is indicative only.
Use appropriate caution
Do not rely on the Beta as your only record or for clinical, emergency, employment, insurance or other high-impact decisions. Keep any information you need independently, install updates promptly and stop using a feature if it behaves unexpectedly. Forma describes sampled, camera-visible posture and is not a diagnosis, treatment, clinical monitor or substitute for professional advice.
Changes, suspension and withdrawal
Forma may change, limit, suspend, reset or discontinue any Beta feature or the Beta itself at any time, including for testing, security, legal, provider, cost or reliability reasons. Where practicable, Forma will give reasonable notice of a material discontinuation. Beta Pro access is a temporary credit, not a paid subscription, and may end when the Beta ends; any separately paid entitlement remains independent.
Responsibility and liability
The disclosures above are important characteristics of the Beta. To the extent permitted by law, Forma is not responsible for loss caused solely by a disclosed experimental characteristic, a change or discontinuation you were told about, incompatible or compromised equipment, failure to follow clear instructions, or an event outside Forma’s reasonable control. The exclusions and liability limit in the general Terms also apply.
Nothing in this addendum excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or rights and remedies that mandatory UK consumer law gives you. Forma will provide the Beta with the reasonable care and skill required by applicable law.
Privacy, feedback and Research
Ordinary Beta use follows the general Privacy Policy and does not require a separate Beta data contribution. You may provide feedback voluntarily under the general Terms. Optional Forma Research is separate from the product Beta and requires its own explicit choices; declining Research does not affect Beta access or the Beta Pro credit.
Priority and contact
The general Terms continue to apply. If this addendum conflicts with them about the experimental nature, availability or lifecycle of the Beta, this addendum controls to that extent. Mandatory rights always take priority. Contact eric@formapose.com.
